Reconciliation measure streamlines leasing, unlocks access to federal lands and waters

HOUSTON- Today, the Energy Workforce & Technology Council released the following statement applauding the United States Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee’s Reconciliation proposal.

“This is a strong step toward restoring common sense in American energy policy,” said Energy Workforce President Tim Tarpley. “The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee’s proposal prioritizes American energy security by streamlining leasing processes and unlocking access to federal lands and waters. It further recognizes the critical role oil and gas plays in powering our economy and supporting American jobs. We commend the Committee for advancing legislation that aligns with reality and supports the men and women who keep our energy sector moving forward. ”
