Gain Insights on Technologies Driving Power and Automation in Energy Services

The Energy Technology Committee hosts its annual seminar on April 30 at NOV in Houston, featuring a half-day of speakers sharing insights on how AI applications and automation are transforming efficiency in the energy sector, as well as what rising power demand means for the industry’s future.

Registration, detailed agenda and sponsorship opportunities are available online.

Guests can expect a robust conversation around power demand that will explore evolving power demand across key market segments—oilfield services, data centers, and utilities—highlighting their distinct technical needs, the role of operational efficiencies, opportunities to integrate wellhead and field gas, and the risks of overbuilding in a rapidly shifting energy landscape. Power demand panelists include Geoff Bland, Life Cycle Power; Aaron Hilber, NexTier; and Brendan Gilbert, Solaris Energy Infrastructure.

The second panel with Richard Rodgriguez, ClearSync Solutions; Ben Dickinson, NexTier; and Graham Dey, NOV, will examine the evolving power demand landscape across oilfield services, data centers, and utilities, while also exploring how AI is shaping the future of energy services—from customer expectations and ROI to real-world applications and infrastructure implications.

For the customer outlook, participants will hear from Cheniere, where Matt Barr, Vice President of State Government & Community Affairs, will discuss the natural gas market outlook for 2025.

Previous years’ themes and discussions centered on geothermal technologies, the evolution of e-frac, CCUS, and the integration of nuclear energy in the OFS sector.
