Oklahoma Chapter Luncheon: Industry Outlook & Trends

The Energy Workforce Oklahoma Chapter, led by Vice Chair Andy Horner, US Account Director with SLB held a luncheon at the Innovation District in Oklahoma City on April 23.

Molly Determan, President of Energy Workforce & Technology Council, gave an overview of the association and current policy priorities.

The keynote speaker, Josh Viets, EVP & COO of Expand Energy discussed the trends that are shaping the industry and noted that it will take all forms of energy to meet future demands.

“Rigs are becoming more and more efficient in natural gas production. The market was materially oversupplied with record LNG production entering 2024 and showing strength in early 2025,” said Josh Viets, EVP & COO of Expand Energy.

Terry Padden, Managing Director of Energy, Power and Infrastructure at Piper Sandler, delivered a comprehensive Market Outlook, offering valuable insights into the future of the sector.
